In 1999, Impact Community Services, Inc., a not for profit social service agency, was founded locally in Broward County by mental health professionals with extensive clinical and administrative expertise in the foster care field.

The agency and its experienced staff are dedicated to providing meaningful mental health rehabilitation treatment, independent living skill development, and vocational assistance to foster care adolescents.

Services are provided in a safe, nurturing and consistent manner that meets the needs of the individual and the community through mutual respect and dignity.

Impact's mission is to empower its residents to accept responsibility for themselves and to recognize the need to prepare for their futures upon being discharged from the foster care system. Through intensive and comprehensive programming, we strive to promote these positive changes.
